In the summer of 2024 we sat in a diner in Red Hook and drew a varsity on a napkin. The country was about to turn 250. Every brand was going to slap a flag on a t-shirt. We didn't want to make the t-shirt.

So we made this. One jacket. 2,500 pieces. Built to outlive the tweets, outlive the ads, outlive the year. Pre-orders close June 1, 2026. Then the factory runs, the jackets ship, and we close the shop.

If you don't pre-order by June 1 — you will not own this jacket. The site stays up as a receipt of the thing that happened. That's the whole business plan.

Q. How many are you making?
A. 2,500. That's it. Not one more. Numbered 0001 to 2500 on a brass plate inside the collar.
Q. What happens if I don't pre-order by June 1, 2026?
A. You do not own this jacket. Ever. We close the shop at 23:59 ET on June 1. There is no waitlist, no second chance, no private DM. It's over.
Q. Can I return it?
A. No. Pre-orders are final sale. No returns, no exchanges, no refunds. Read the size chart twice. When in doubt, size up — varsity jackets are meant to sit over a hoodie.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. No. Continental US only. If you want one from outside the US, use a mail-forwarder at your own risk — but we can't help once it leaves our warehouse.
Q. Will there be a restock?
A. No. We destroy the numbering die at piece 2500 and the shop closes. There is no USA250 v2. There is no USA251. There is no "limited restock for our newsletter subscribers."
Q. Why $250?
A. 250 dollars for 250 years. 2,500 of them. The math writes itself.
